I've always dreamed of going on safari and as it was my 60th birthday, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to tick it off my bucket list and celebrate in style. When you first start cluelessly researching the various companies to choose from, it can be

We were in the best hands with Vanessa from the beginning - from the contact to the offer to the incorporation of our wishes Goldfinch Adventures was able to convince us completely! On site in Arusha we were personally welcomed by Vanessa and handed over to our driver Ismael, who for the next 4 days drove us extremely professionally and prudently from national park to national park... The safari itself will be remembered forever, the many animals and the wonderful landscape you must have seen once in your life 🦒🐃🐘! PS: The lodges booked by the agency have also convinced us that food, service and location have met our expectations 100 percent

We had a great experience with Goldfinch! They put together a full itinerary that matched our expectations and budget perfectly. Emmanuel (our guide) and Baraka (our cook) were fantastic—super welcoming, attentive to details, and always making sure we felt safe. They also shared lots of interesting information at every stop, which made the trip even better. For the Kenya part of our journey, we worked with a partner company (Africa Colours), but honestly, the service wasn’t great. If you’re planning to visit neighboring countries, we’d recommend considering a different partner for that portion.

Excellent Experience, great Tour operator, good prompt communication, everything ran smoothly. Great guides on the trip, Hamad and Swahibu, flowed with our pace, very informative while not too talkative.

My partner and I opted for Goldfinch Adventures to organise and plan our 13 day combined Safari and Beach vacation in October 2025. It appears we chose wisely as we both agree it was the best vacation we have ever had (and we have been to many places!). Kelvin listened to our requirements and put together a very professional full itinerary for our private tour. Together we tweaked a couple of bits here and there before settling on the final product. Everything was taken care of, from transfers, to accommodation bookings, park fees, food & refreshments and knowledgeable guides, and for any queries he was available via WhatsApp. We swear we had the best driver/guide in Tanzania. Samwel made this trip for us with his kind heart, keen eyesight, sense of humour and expert driving skill. By the end of the week he had become a friend, after seeing the big 5 and so much more in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorogoro. We visited Kilimanjaro and literally made our own coffee from beans to roasting to crushing and boiling. We swam in the hot spring of Chemka. Our second week was more relaxing and less complex on the white sands of Zanzibar but this too was organised by Kelvin including the domestic flight across. Do not be alarmed by the "30% up front and pay the rest in cash once you get there". This appears to be typical practice for the local operators. We cannot fault any part of this trip and can thoroughly recommend Goldfinch Adventures to plan your experience of Tanzania & Zanzibar.
